It all started with
Emmy.
On May 5, 2024, I rescued my soul dog, and I named her Emmy.
Her breed was unrecognizable due to the horrible condition she was left in — 3 lbs and frail, tail left with no hair, matted, and patches of hair missing throughout her body. Timid as can be and scared as she should be, but her eyes told a story of love from the very beginning. After a bath and vet visit, I found out she was a 2-year-old toy poodle that may have been on the street her whole life, fighting. Weeks then months went by, and as I nursed her back to health, our bond was inseparable. From the night I found her, I was told how amazing our story was — that we essentially found each other at our worst. What I didn’t know was that as much as I saved her life, she saved mine.
Emmy showed up in my life at a moment when I needed someone to simply be present. No advice. No solutions. Just presence. She gave me that every single day — without ever once asking for anything in return. Her unconditional love resonated beyond time.
On April 20, 2025 — two weeks shy of one year after I brought her home — Emmy unexpectedly & tragically passed away.
In the grief that followed, I had a revelation. She was truly an angel sent by God. She was not a coincidence. She was sent to me for a reason — and she was taken to show me that goodness does not disappear when we lose something. It transforms.
Emmy's Box is that transformation.

Emmy's Box is a monthly subscription box for dog lovers — but it is not a box of treats and toys.
Every month, your box arrives in sky blue (so your pup can recognize their own box too 🤗). Inside is a curated collection of products chosen for both you and your dog. But the most important thing in the box is a small, beautifully printed card with one question on it.
One present-tense question about your dog. Right now. Not a memory — a living moment.
You answer it. You scan the QR code or write it on the card and drop it in the included return envelope. It arrives with us.
And then we write your dog's story.
From your words — your specific words about your specific dog — we craft a professionally written, curated story card. It ships in your next box. You slide it into the Bond Book — a hardcover journal with your dog's name on the cover — and their story grows. Month by month. Year by year. Until it is whole.
By Month 12, you hold something no one else in the world has. The complete story of your dog's year — in your hands, in a book that will outlast both of you while enjoying special gifts in the box each month to create memories with.

I built Emmy's Box because I am not the only one who has felt this bond.
I am not the only person who has looked at their dog and felt something they could not quite name — something bigger than a pet, bigger than a routine, bigger than a relationship that was supposed to be simple.
I am not the only person who has lost a dog and wished, desperately, that they had written more down. That they had paused more. That they had celebrated more while there was still time.
And I am not the only person who has been told that grief over a dog is not a real grief — when they know, in the place where truth lives, that it is one of the most real things they have ever felt.
Emmy's Box exists for all of us.
